Right. Well. I went to Europe in January to study counter-terrorism, and had a total blast. There's a lot more story there than I'm putting down here, but if you want the details, just ask. Looooong story. You have been warned.
Also, I'm working with the University of Maryland Police Auxiliary now, as well as at my previous job. That's right - a full-time college student is working two part-time jobs. And did I mention I'm continuing my internship from last semester? Yup. Busy times. Also, I've declared two minors: Terrorism Studies and Spanish. I figure that, with a major in Criminal Justice and those minors, what federal agency wouldn't want me? Speaking of internships, I recently applied for one with the Department of Justice, so hopefully that'll go well and I can get my size 15 boot in the door for a career later on. Good times. Busy times, but good times. To give you an idea of just HOW busy the times are, I work ~35 hours per week, take 3 hours of class on Tue/Wed/Thu, and fill in everything else around that. Oh yes, and did I mention that this is supposed to be Summer Vacation?
Big plans coming up for the Fall semester! I might be starting the internship that I applied for, depending on how quickly they can process me, and I'll be taking my first Terrorism Studies course, along with some Spanish Lit and Grammar courses. I only have to take one more Crim course to satisfy my major requirements, but I'm saving that for a later semester, since 15 of your last 30 credits (or something like that) have to be 300-400 level, and my last Crim is a 450-something.
But enough about me... what do you think about me? ...Dunno where that came from.
